AGIDEAS

Trends and Designers



The trends I've discovered during my 3 days at AGIDEAS are challenging hardships ahead and workout strategies and ideas to develop an effective solution to the problem. They all had hardships, trials and tribulations in their careers to get them at where they are at the moment.

Though trials and tribulations you'll discover your weaknesses and strongest points and to work on them but you don't cast away your confidence and need of endurance to achieve it. There are two quotes I made up which relates to visual art but this idea behind this quote can also work with other careers as well. It encourages me to endure and build on what I was given and develop it. I also learnt to continue and develop my creative world and communicate with the real world.

"Never give up on something you want to achieve. There will be trials and tribulation though out the journey of the goal you desire to achieve, and it doesn't mean giving up. It means to overcome trials and tribulation to become stronger and wiser in the decisions you choose and proceed in design, visual art or in life."- Mena Zarif


"Every visual artists starts as an amateur. Though experimenting with media and though trials & errors, the artist finds their own type of techniques & strategies towards their own style of art and the artist push themselves to achieve better results. The outcomes are incredible."- Mena Zarif

What I like about his works that he creates a family of his country, Taiwan. He seeks and seeks to find Taiwan in everything and everywhere he goes. He seeks in rocks, buildings, trees, leaves and in nature too. He also experiments with Taiwan illustration using design elements and principals and match them together. This is a great way to find and keep inspirations and build our own creative minds, hearts and worlds. 


He is a great inspirational to me because he helped and gives me direction where I can develop my creative mind, heart and world. He encourages me to seek myself to see what I like and dislike and develop artistic works and designs too. He also encourages me to get out of my comfort zone and take risks in my creative appoach, design and art too.

In the internet you can use both free and paid images and use them for personal or commercial use. Before doing so you need to read very carefully the terms & conditions and prices.

The prices are from $5 and can be over $1,000. You can download a free preview JPEG but it is copyright by gettyimages. To remove the copyright you need to pay the amount. You can pay the amount via credit card.

In the internet there are free and paid fonts. Some free fonts is only used for personal use only and not for commercial use. It is very important to read the Terms & Conditions of the font website you are using.
You can also buy fonts inside a Small Business starter kit in stores such as Harvey Norman, Officeworks etc. But you need to also check their terms and conditions too.

2) Paid stock fonts:


Payment ranges from $55- over $1,000. You can buy a whole family font kid which costs over $700.

Font: I sourced my font via a small business starter kid CD from a local store. The font is called Belmar. Belmar is a free font to download from the internet.

My team Logo

Achilles Based greek hero.



Achilles was identified as human and demi-powers who was a warrior and Prince of Phthia. He was the son of King Peleus of Phthia. Achilles fought in a 10 year Trojan war and came out one of the successful heroes to be remembered. He symbolizes a very brave, courageous, discipline, strong, and stand up for what is right.  He showed strength, stamina and he was stronger and faster than any warrior. He wore a soldier uniform which includes a hat like a mohawk style, has a sparrow, and hand protected metal body shield. He also had a long blonde hair.


About my Cricket Club.


My cricket club is based in Broome or Darwin in Australia. I am currently still choosing which city I can promote and begin a cricket club name and logo.

I called my team Broome Redhats. My greek hero character wore a red soldier hat that's why I've chosen the name.

Darwin shields is another cricket club logo I've chosen. My greek hero Achilles used a protective shield.

"Thank you for posting and I really enjoyed reading this article. It is a really great cause to call on unity for Australian designers/artists and Indian designers/artists to work together as a team, develop great teamwork and to get to know each other too. I am really curious to see the outcome of this cause but I am hoping it will work."

Aboriginal Motifs

Functions and Philosophies


Principals & Protocols are strict and straight forward guidelines how to use Indigenous Visual Art in a correct, non-offensive and very ethical way which works both ways. The purpose principals and protocols are in place because it uses protection of offensive and threat attacks, and encourages us to respect and use good use of conduct and promote interaction to Indigenous Visual Art in a right way. It practices good faith and mutual respect for each other. The two principals and protocols I'll discuss are Respect & Secrecy and confidentiality.

1- Respect:

We must except and respect all Indigenous people, their heritage, designs, images, stories and other cultural meanings, must be treated with respect. I believe every good work of art has a meaning behind it. Everyone is different but we are all equal.  We must respect all Indigenous Visual Artworks too. A famous quote:

“People talk about country in the same way that they would talk about a person: they speak to country, sing to country, visit country, worry about country, feel sorry for country and long for country….country knows, hears, smells, takes notice, takes care, is sorry or happy…Because of this richness, country is home, and

2-Secrecy and confidentiality


Some of the cultures materials and artworks need to be confidentially and cannot be shown to the public. Before we promote Indigenous artists and communities, we need to speak with Indigenous artists and communities how they can promote themselves to the public. Their ways of promoting it makes them feel reasonable, safe and speaking out for the right reasons too. The right reasons of what they comfortable with.


Moral Rights and Issues


Moral Rights must be taken seriously and handle issues in a high ethical way. We should do no harm what so ever to Indigenous Visual Artworks and artists.  Their rights are

1- The artist(s) enquired to display their names and their artwork clearly.
2- The artist(s) can take action of their artwork if their work is shown as someone.
3- The artist(s) can take action of their own artwork if their work as been treated as not respectable and cruel way and to a point that they been accused and messed up their reputation.

I very strongly urge and advice let's respect all artworks and artists and strongly urge do not accuse or do any harm of any sort.

Native American Motifs

Cleveland Indians

Who are Cleveland Indians?

Cleveland Indians are a professional baseball team located at Cleveland, Ohio. The club founded in 1889 under the name of Cleveland Spiders. They changed their team name about 2 times till they settled with Cleveland Indians in 1915 after the departure of Nap Lajoie. They decided to revive the name Indians of the honor of Louise Sockalexis who was Indian. He played for the team in 1897.  In the first season they finished 7th place with a record of 57-97. 

Current Logo analysis



Current logo concept/theme behind the design:  

The Indian character is smiling and wearing it's traditional wear clothing to represent their culture. Smiling means they are proud of their culture. It can also mean a symbol of love, unity, happiness and joy.


Personal thoughts: 

My personal thoughts on the current logo. I will look at the situation in both ways and hopefully it will fit in together. Personally I think they should change the Indians because people can abuse the Indians inside and outside the game. Abusive language is very unacceptable behaviour and we must show equality and respect for all people in the world including Indians. 

I believe that we are created in the world to communicate with each other and show peace, forgiveness, love, unity, equality, happiness, joy and build ourselves to represent ourselves as good people. Everyone are different but we are all equal. Yes we make mistakes, yes we can be angry but don't be angry and blame others for it. And don't be racist. Racism is one of the biggest and dangerous acts in the world and it must stop.

The reason there are lots of racism in this world because there are not having no forgiveness in heart and no self-control. Some people needs to stop their conflictual ways and reconsider their own mindset of dealing with earthly issues. Earthly wisdom is full of evil deeds such as judging others, putting others down, accusing and bearing false accusations against each other and other evil deeds which is completely unacceptable. But we must unite together again, become good people and begin to have forgiveness in heart and look into the brighter side. 

Some people usually don't like Indians and I don't want to pass judgement what I heard but It's wrong. But what I can say is we need to practise good deeds. Don't judge a person without getting to know them.

My final decision is they must change the logo into something else where there is no risk of abusive and evil deeds. We can promote Indians in different ways not in a game. 'Act of Service and Human Rights ' are categories that are suitable in. These groups can promote and practice good deeds. Promoting cultures in games are completing unacceptable and racist. The logo there is no problem with it, I like it but it's not suitable in team name. But it's suitable in 'Human Rights' and 'Act of Good Service' groups.

Clash of the Titans

1- Titans are evil creatures and men with an evil ruler named Hades. Hades and his evil army wants to destroy Zeus, Perseus and all his good people and rule over the whole world. Zeus suggests love one another and fight against all evil are the only ways so have a successful and become true good people and defeat all evil force. To know what is right and wrong, to know what is good and evil.

Perseus wants to fight as a man and  he don't want to use the sword which was given to him from Zeus. He just wants to fight all evil forces with his own human strength.

Son of Zeus,  Perseus doesn't believe the sword comes from Zeus can defeat Hades and all of his evil army, then he finds out he uses a sword that can defeat one of the evil creatures from Hades and he killed them all.
His lover Lo is ready to go to meet Zeus so she comforted Perseus saying 'Everything will be ok'.

When Lo left him, a horse with flying wings went with him and fight all evil forces in the world. When all evil forces was defeated, he met Lo and Zeus. Zeus explained to Perseus that the horse with flying wings and the sword helped you to overcome and defeat all evil men and force.

2- Yes, there were  protective shields, and swords represents Power, strength, courage and trust. Fight what is right.

3- Yes, the character with the sword and a mohawk style soldier hat.

5- Yes, Perisus is one of the my characters because has a lover and a father. Two characters represents Achilles.

6- Yes and they are Zeus, Lo, Perisus and the soldier with a protective shield and a mohawk style soldier hat.

7- Medusa killed by the sword from Perisus.
