Greek hero- Achilles

History:

Achilles was identified as human and demi-powers who was a warrior and Prince of Phthia. He was the son of King Peleus of Phthia. Achilles fought in a 10 year Trojan war and came out one of the successful heroes to be remembered.

Adventures:

While he fought in the 10 year Trojan war, Achilles became friends with a young prince Patroclus who was a shamed prince and gave him a second chance, helped him and became really good friends. Achilles's mother was a cruel sea goddess her name was Thetis. Patroclus's death was a motivation for Achilles to continue fight in the Trojan war.

His enemies are Cycnus, Hector, Helen of Troy, Mikaboshi, Paris, Penthesileia, Pluto, the Trojans, ( former) Agamemnon.

Relationships:

Achilles and young shamed prince Patroclus remained strong and knew they can develop a strong friendship together. Communication, understanding and action were the keys to succeed in teamwork goals. Patroclus died and Achilles was more motivated to fight in the war.

His relatives are Peleus (father), Thetis (mother), Neoptolemus (son by Deidameia, Alias Pyrrhus), Telamon (uncle), Ajax the Great (cousin), Aeacus, Nereus (both are grandfathers to him), Endeis, Doris ( both are grandmothers to him); Polyxena (his wife), Caistrus (son by Penthesilia), and Zeus (his great-grandfather).

Appearance:

Achilles wore a soldier uniform which includes a hat like a mohawk style, has a sparrow, and hand protected metal body shield. He also had a long blonde hair.

Symbols:

Achilles symbolizes a very brave, courageous, discipline, strong, and stand up for what is right.  He showed strength, stamina and he was stronger and faster than any warrior.

Evolution:

The evolution of the Trojan war into team/individual sports in the modern days and other activities was a amazing transformation. Teamwork and friendship development was the main messages in the Trojan war and how we can learn from it.

Sports related:

1) AFL- Australian Football Rules is a sports which involves running, bumping, tackling, teamwork, fitness and gym work.
2) Boxing- It involves defence, punching, standing up and keep fighting till the end.
3) Marathon Running-It involves competing against each other to stay in the road and continue the long run. Who is the most successful athlete to win the Marathon.
